About Us

Waymakers is a leading nonprofit organization based in Irvine, California, dedicated to empowering youth, individuals, and families who have experienced trauma or crisis. Formerly known as Community Service Programs (CSP), Waymakers has served Orange County for more than five decades, delivering compassionate, culturally responsive programs that promote healing, stability, and self-sufficiency.

Waymakers provides a comprehensive continuum of services focused on violence prevention, trauma recovery, and housing stability. Its programs support some of the community’s most vulnerable populations, including at-risk youth, survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, victims of crime, individuals experiencing homelessness, and families navigating complex social and economic challenges. Through early intervention, crisis response, and long-term support, Waymakers helps individuals move from crisis toward safety, resilience, and independence.

Key services include youth shelters and crisis intervention, school-based prevention and counseling programs, mental health and trauma-informed therapy, domestic violence and sexual assault survivor services, and housing and homelessness prevention initiatives. Waymakers also operates emergency response and victim advocacy programs that work closely with law enforcement, schools, courts, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, wraparound care.
