    About Us

According to the Orange County Business Journal, Caribou Industries is the “dominant landlord” in downtown Santa Ana, California. Over the years, the Company has owned more than 70 buildings totaling more than 5 million square feet of commercial, retail, and historic restoration space. These properties have been leased to government and private tenants, including the Small Business Administration, Children’s Youth Service, Housing and Urban Development, and City of Santa Ana.

More recently, CII purchased the former five-story headquarters of the Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper Orange County Register for $34 million, and the 20-acres of land surrounding the historic building for $43 million. Plans for this property include a 2.3 million-square-foot mixed use of high-rise office buildings, hotels, apartments and condos, restaurants and shops.

CII is also in the process of developing One Broadway Plaza, a 37-story office tower near the Civic Center in downtown Santa Ana that will redefine the Orange County skyline. One Broadway Plaza has received all approvals and permits available to begin construction soon. Plans for this particular property include not only the tallest building in Orange County, but a blueprint for a sustainable living and working environment.

And one of the Company’s more breathtaking properties is The Pinnacle in Honolulu, Hawaii, a 37-story condominium complex now available for occupancy.
