TOMI Engineering, Inc. is a Santa Ana-based precision CNC machining and assembly company serving the aerospace, defense, space, and advanced manufacturing industries. Located at 414 East Alton Avenue, TOMI Engineering specializes in producing complex, high-performance components and assemblies where precision, reliability, and quality are critical.

Founded in 1977, TOMI has developed extensive experience in precision manufacturing and has grown into a vertically integrated supplier offering CNC machining, assembly, engineering, and process-control support. Its machining capabilities include 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining, high-speed machining, and hard-metal machining. TOMI works with a broad range of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, nickel-based superalloys such as Inconel, castings, forgings, and high-performance polymers. The company can accommodate both low- and high-volume production and parts ranging from very small components to pieces approximately 60 inches in length.

Beyond machining, TOMI provides in-house assembly services in a designated assembly environment. Its capabilities include installation of inserts, rivets, nutplates, bearings, bushings, gaskets, and sealants, as well as precision nut-and-bolt torquing. The company’s engineering team also provides design-for-manufacturability support, advanced CAM programming, material and process expertise, new product introduction support, and tolerance optimization.

The company is AS9100 certified and ITAR registered and maintains inspection capabilities that include two ZEISS coordinate measuring machines in a temperature-controlled environment.
