QUESTIONS FOR REVIEW:- Why did you join the Chamber and what are your expectations?
- What do you like most about working for SA Public Schools Foundation?
- How can I help you get the most out of your membership?
Why did you join the Chamber and what are your expectations?- As a member of the Chamber for several years while working with another organization, and as a volunteer board member of the Santa Ana Public Schools Foundation (SAPSF), I have had the pleasure of serving with great Chamber and Foundation community leaders that support education, businesses, non-profits, residents, families and students in Santa Ana.
- With this new membership, we want to enhance our relationship and identify best avenues to partner and support our common goals.
- Our organizations have signature events that we can jointly promote and attend. For example, the Foundation invites everyone to support the Annual SAUSD Superintendent’s Breakfast that is scheduled for Friday, November 3, 2023—this is a fabulous opportunity for business, civic and other leaders to learn more about SAUSD and the Foundation, while recognizing exemplary organizations that make amazing contributions.
- The Foundation offers memorial and business scholarships; and, we periodically seek professional assistance—for example, currently we are looking for a graphic artist to assist with internet marketing, promoting online invitations, donations, and scholarships. In addition, closer to the holidays and the end of the calendar year, we have opportunities for businesses and community leaders to donate to our large toy drive with funding, or toys for children.
- The founders and volunteer board are amazing! I see the passion, support and leadership of the Executive Board, other board members and current partners.
- As volunteers, we donate countless time and skills to assist SAUSD.
- Volunteering with the SAUSD board, superintendent and other leaders is wonderful as we partner to support the performing arts, innovative projects, teachers with mini grants, and enhance scholarships for graduating seniors to continue their higher education.
- Building relationships and partnerships to support students, teachers, and the community serves to empower the future of Santa Ana.
- Support opportunities to promote the Foundation, our mission, and financial resources that will contribute to our students, teachers, families and the community.
- Develop partnerships that will support the Chamber and Foundation.
