We're incredibly proud to celebrate one of our Santa Ana Chamber members, Live Good Inc., and their inspiring commitment to creating opportunity through compassion. Founder Jennifer Chi has built something truly remarkable over the past decade—an organization that bridges the gap between academic excellence and real-world impact while serving some of our community's most vulnerable young people.
Creating Pathways to Success
Live Good's approach is both practical and profound. Through partnerships with the University of California Capstone Programs, they're ensuring that students' academic work translates directly into meaningful real-world experience. Their collaboration with Women in Information and Computer Sciences is opening critical pathways for women entering the technology sector—an industry where diverse voices are essential.
Perhaps most impressive is their mentorship program serving at-risk youth throughout California, from San Francisco down to Southern California. In a time when entry-level opportunities for recent graduates are increasingly scarce, Live Good is deliberately creating meaningful positions that allow young professionals to apply their education, gain experience, and build confidence for their future careers.
Recognition for Innovation
The organization's impact hasn't gone unnoticed. Live Good was recently honored with a nomination for 2025 Innovator of the Year by the CEO and Publisher of the Orange County Business Journal—a well-deserved recognition of their commitment to blending business success with genuine social impact.
A Philosophy Rooted in Compassion
What sets Live Good apart is founder Jennifer Chi's clear-eyed philosophy about human nature and business. "At Live Good, we believe love is real," Jennifer explains. "I share this truth with our team often because it keeps us focused on the greater mission: to serve those in need and to create bridges of opportunity, especially for young people searching for their place in the world."
Jennifer doesn't shy away from acknowledging the darker aspects of human nature—our unique capacity for both creation and destruction. But she emphasizes that our even greater capacity for love and compassion is what should guide us, particularly as we navigate rapid technological change.
"Human brilliance is a gift," she notes. "Yet brilliance alone is not enough. Love must be the guide. Without love, intelligence builds weapons instead of bridges. It seeks control instead of connection. But guided by love, intelligence becomes a force of healing, capable of curing the greatest wounds of our time."
Expanding Humanitarian Reach
Live Good continues to expand beyond educational partnerships and food drives to include environmental initiatives protecting endangered animals and building collaborative bridges across borders. Jennifer finds inspiration in nature, particularly in the ancient redwoods along the California coast, which remind her of the larger rhythms of life and our place within something greater than ourselves.
A Model for Mission-Driven Business
Live Good Inc. exemplifies what's possible when business leaders commit to being a force for good in their community. Their work demonstrates that profitability and purpose aren't competing priorities—they're complementary goals that create lasting value for everyone involved.
We're honored to have Live Good as part of our Santa Ana Chamber community and look forward to supporting their continued growth and impact.
