About Us

Reimagine was founded in 1950 when a group of brave parents of children with disabilities banded together to help their kids get the care they needed. Their fearless actions opened the door for others to step out of the shadows and ask the same for their family members—sparking a decades-long evolution of focused, individualized care and extended support for people with disabilities.

Now in its 74th year, Reimagine is relentlessly pursuing possibilities and creating opportunities for lifelong learning through innovative approaches and unique partnerships.

In doing this, Reimagine stands alongside its participants and the community to challenge stereotypes and reshape the future.
