    About Us

In 1969, Project Youth OCBF was established as the philanthropic arm of the Orange County Bar Association under the name Orange County Bar Foundation. In 2018, we added a dba to our name (Project Youth OCBF) to better reflect that we are a provider of youth programs. Due to the success of our work supporting at-risk youth, in 1981 we became an independent 501c3 nonprofit agency. We are located in Santa Ana. We work closely with the Santa Ana community including local law
enforcement & schools. We also work throughout Orange County to assist youth & families in need. Our agency is fiscally sound & has a strong governing board of 40 directors. We have a direct service staff of fifteen bilingual/bicultural program coordinators, case managers & clinical supervisors, all with training & experience working with youth to provide juvenile crime & substance use prevention, mental health, sexual health education, & academic/career growth. We have a long-term executive director, who has been with our agency for thirty-two years, seventeen years as executive director. Six additional management directors oversee programs, fund development, finances & research and development. All management staff are experienced and highly qualified to assist in the operating of a 501 c3 agency.

Project Youth OCBF has a long history operating culturally competent, high-quality, & cost-effective programs for the identified target population. For over 50 years, Project Youth OCBF has responded to the growing needs of Orange County youth and families.
