The State of Youth Mental Health in Santa Ana

Mental health struggles among youth have been on the rise in recent years. To address this critical issue in our community, the Santa Ana Youth Mental Health Sub-Committee, in collaboration with the Santa Ana Unified School District, Santa Ana Task Force, and the City of Santa Ana, is hosting an important meeting on the State of Youth Mental Health in Santa Ana.

This inaugural event will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 9:00am to 12:00pm, with lunch provided by SAUSD at 11:15am. The meeting will take place at Saddleback High School (The Nest) located at 2802 S. Flower St, Santa Ana.

The agenda aims to educate attendees about the current state of youth mental health, provide data updates, and highlight the wellness services available in the Santa Ana Unified School District. School district leaders will present on their multi-tiered system of care, student and family engagement efforts to support those experiencing stress, anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation.

This informative session presents a valuable opportunity for community members to learn how to advance efforts in supporting the mental health needs of children in Santa Ana. To register, please visit https://bit.ly/SAUSDYouthMentalHealth.
