Saddleback College's Medical Laboratory Technician Program Offers Pathways for Aspiring Healthcare Professionals

Saddleback College has received a Regional Equity and Recovery Partnership (RERP) grant to place 47 motivated and talented individuals in Saddleback’s Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program.

The term of the grant performance period is 1/23/23 and will end on 9/30/25. The MLT program is currently a two-year program. The college will work toward introducing an accelerated program and accept students on a cohort basis. Interested students can quickly earn a non-credit Phlebotomy certificate as part of the MLT program and can begin their careers in the healthcare field.

Saddleback College is looking to enroll interested students in the program. Support and wrap-around services will be provided to interested students to ensure their success.  Eligible WIOA participants and First Generation College Students, Immigrants, Low-Income Communities, and Veterans are encouraged to apply to the MLT program at Saddleback College.
