Community Action Partnership of Orange County (CAP OC) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating poverty in our communities. Founded during the Civil Rights War on Poverty movement, CAP OC provides support services to poor and low-income populations. In its 50+ year history, the organization has successfully developed a Head Start program, the Legal Aid Society and currently operates a regional food bank, transitional housing units, three family resource centers and provides vital services and resources that help Orange County’s most vulnerable, and at-risk households meet basic needs, overcome barriers, and find pathways to self-sufficiency. As the premiere antipoverty agency of Orange County, CAP OC has alleviated hunger, strengthened families and communities.
